Ellie Terrell is a native Chicago designer, maker, painter, builder, and educator. She makes theater, immersive installations, murals, objects, and sculptures. She is fascinated with the role and value of everyday objects as art, and their capacity to hold memory and meaning. She is inspired by the intersection of nature and city life, and the interconnectivity of humans. She works with many different mediums, and is always up for a new challenge. In addition to her art practice, Ellie teaches a high school Sculpture & 3D Art class with After School Matters. Ellie holds a BA in Literary and Cultural Studies from the College of William and Mary.
